  • The Red Dragon was Red Ranger's Thunderzord.

  • The Red Dragon's transformation from dragon mode to warrior mode was as follows: the neck and tail fold upward into robot legs, the four dragon legs combine into two dragon arms, the detached dragon head transforms into the robot head, then the robot head and chest unite with the body.
  • The Red Dragon Warrior Mode's forehead bore the same gold design as would be on the White Ranger's belt in place of a Morpher.
  • The Red Dragon Warrior Mode formed the central body of the Thunder Megazord, around which the other four Zords assembled as pieces of armor.

  • Giant Lipsyncher clobbered the Red Dragon Warrior Mode.
  • For its diving staff finishing move, the Red Dragon Warrior Mode would twirl its staff around while riding in the Thunder Megazord Attack Mode, then leap down, slicing through its opponent with the glowing pink ends of its staff.
  • The Red Dragon Warrior Mode's diving staff attack destroyed giant Lipsyncher.

  • While only the Red Dragon Warrior Mode was supposed to be fighting giant Photomare, Rocky was at one point shown alone in the Megazord cockpit, and the Megazord was also shown confronting the giant monster before the others had summoned their Zords to form the Megazord.
