703-RTTR

  • With very few exceptions, monsters used by Scorpius, Trakeena, Captain Mutiny, or related generals would fall into one of four categories, each associated with a specific villain although not always used during that particular villain's reign as general.
  • The first type of monsters wore varying amounts of black leather, were almost always based on insects, and almost always wore Villamax's wing pin somewhere on their bodies; these monsters included Radster, Horn, Gasser, Quakemaker, Ruptor, the blue beetle monster, Motor Mantis, Spikaka, and Decibat, as well as a centipede monster shown in a recording in 729-Cham, and they were often used by Furio.
  • The second type of monsters were based on sea creatures and always bore Treacheron's sunset emblem; they included Mutantrum, Wisewizard, Samuron, Fishface, Chillyfish, Destruxo, the Shark Brothers, Kubak, and Teksa and were often used by Treacheron; the unseen Starcog was probably another monster in this category.
  • The third type of monsters were generally based on mythological figures, such as mummies, angels, and Medusas, and always bore Hexuba's golden eye design; they included Impostra, Freaky Tiki, Skelekron, Crumummy, Hardtochoke, Rykon, Icy Angel, and Maronda and were often used by Trakeena.
  • The fourth type of monsters were robotic and always bore the symbol of Barbarax; they included Cannonbrawl, Chameliac, Ironite, Magnetox, Rocketron, and Nightmare and were used both in and out of the Lost Galaxy.
  • Monsters not fitting into any of these four categories included Grunchor, Rojomon, and Titanisaur, all used by Captain Mutiny in the Lost Galaxy.

    703-RTTR

  • To grow after being momentarily defeated, Radster drank from a glass flask with a wide bottom full of green liquid, drinking only a bit.
  • All monsters would experience a drastic deepening of their voices upon growing.

    704-Rook

  • Smoking from a Transdagger blast, Horn got up and weakly said he still had his own secret weapon: he pulled out a green flask (also used by Radster, Mutantrum, Ruptor, and Fishface) and chugged, making him grow and healing his previously severed hand.

    705-Hmsk

  • Gasser apparently enlarged himself without a growth potion.

    706-LOrn

  • The Transdagger star formation blast knocked Mutantrum down, but he then drank from a flask and grew.

    707-DblD

  • The Quasar Launchers' blasts made a huge explosion defeating Wisewizard, but he then spontaneously grew.

    708-BlCr

  • Kai's saber slash defeated Quakemaker, but the monster grew.

    709-MagD

  • When instructed, Ruptor drank from the normal flask to grow.

    710-Sunf

  • During Scorpius's ravaging of Magna Defender's planet 3,000 years ago, monsters of Scorpius, including a blue beetle monster, Impostra, Motor Mantis, and Radster, had looted treasure chests in the flaming rubble before Magna Defender had confronted them.
  • Beside Scorpius, Fishface had been holding Magna Defender's son Zika.
  • In modern day, Fishface drank from a flask to grow; this would be the last growing potion flask shown used by a monster, as all others would be spontaneous self-induced growths.

    729-Cham

  • Centipede monster One of the videos in Trakeena's archives reviewed by Chameliac featured Yellow Ranger tackling a red and yellow striped centipede monster in a black trenchcoat, both falling off a building into some woods; when the monster had attacked Terra Venture is unknown.

    732-PQsS

  • At the Onyx auction for the pink Quasar Saber were two Shark Brothers, the blue beetle monster, and future monster Decibat; while the Shark Brothers had been destroyed, those present at the auction could have been different ones, and while the blue beetle had apparently been in an unseen battle (as shown in a recording in 729-Cham), he was never shown destroyed, providing no certainty for whether the monsters used by Scorpius, Trakeena, and Captain Mutiny could be revived after destruction without Hexuba.

    740-HGrv

  • In her graveyard outside her floating mansion in the Lost Galaxy, Hexuba was able to resurrect the ghosts of destroyed monsters used by Scorpius in the normal universe by performing an incantation at the tombstone of each monster; resurrected were Freaky Tiki, Teksa, Horn, Destruxo, Fishface, Gasser, Quakemaker, Hardtochoke, and Mutantrum, as well as Treacheron, although there were also at least five streaks unaccounted for.
  • Each of the monsters resurrected by Hexuba generally went to a location on Terra Venture where it had previously battled the Rangers.
  • After Hexuba's sliced crystal ball had fallen into her cauldron and caused her floating mansion structure to self-destruct, the resurrected Hardtochoke and Quakemaker would remain on Terra Venture until their destruction by the Rangers.
  • Hexuba had resurrected monsters of her own camp, as well as those from Villamax and Treacheron, yet she had resurrected none from Barbarax.
  • Arriving with another crystal ball, Hexuba said they may have destroyed all her monsters, but she still had all their powers, combined.
  • As Hexuba spoke, "Monsters of yore, give me more!" numerous flaming energy streaks (apparently two orange, two yellow, a red, and a blue) flew from the ball and then flew into her, transforming her into a bulkier advanced form with monster faces all over her, and her gold scale-edged face was now light blue.
  • Hardtochoke's head was on Hexuba's left shoulder, with a blue-skinned monster never before shown (see "Other Sources," below) on her right shoulder; Icy Angel, Crumummy, and Skelekron were on her left arm, and Freaky Tiki and Maronda were on her right arm, with Rykon in her stomach; with the exception of Impostra and the addition of the blue-skinned monster, this included all of the Hexuba monsters which had borne her golden eye emblem.
  • Each monster head, except Rykon, had a jewel shoved in its mouth; the blue-skinned monster's gem was gold, and other colors are listed in each monster's section.
  • Following Hexuba's destruction, neither Mutiny's nor Trakeena's forces would use any monsters, aside from the pre-existing giant Titanisaur.

    840-FLs2

  • Among the assorted monsters in the Shadow World's underground tomb were several monsters used by Scorpius.

    Other Sources

  • Blue-skinned monster The never-before-seen blue-skinned monster accompanying Hexuba's other monster heads in 740-HGrv was, in Gingaman, a blue monster with many arms, modeled after the Hindu god Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. (Source: Vishnu information from Encyclopedia Mythica)

    Radster
    - scorpion monster used by Furio to attack Terra Venture; fits profile of Villamax monsters
    Radster

    First Appearance: 703-RTTR
    Last Appearance: 840-FLs2

    703-RTTR

  • As the three teens attempted to free the Galactabeasts after Maya had lured Brunt away, explosions erupted around them as Radster and more Stingwingers teleported in.
  • Radster was a red insect-like monster with black leather; he had leather-covered pincer hands and coifed brown hair, wore shades, and talked like Elvis.
  • Radster said he'd caught them, saying they didn't have what it took to fool him.
  • Radster held a silver double-bladed pike weapon.
  • Once the five Rangers had released the Galactabeasts, Radster ran fearfully with the Stingwingers, telling the Rangers they could have the Galactabeasts.
  • After Scorpius had ordered Furio to destroy the Rangers and get the Quasar Sabers, he and Radster then teleported down to Terra Venture's city dome together, with Radster now toting a black laser gun with a somewhat long barrel.
  • Radster was impressed upon seeing the city dome of Terra Venture.
  • Furio told Radster they didn't leave without the Quasar Sabers, and Radster began shooting blue laser beams around him, blowing up numerous skyscrapers.
  • Elsewhere, a blast from Radster's gun wasn't especially devastating to Red Ranger, as he was immediately able to dodge a second blast.
  • Radster had a small gold pin with two wings on his leather vest, identical to the one Villamax would wear.
  • Following a fire blast and a charged slash from Leo, Radster was surrounded by explosions, but he soon got back up and drank from a flask of green liquid which enlarged him.
  • Confronted by the Lion Galactabeast, giant Radster shot his laser beam, but the Lion competed with the beam with a stream of fire from its mouth.
  • The fire soon overpowered Radster's beam, beginning to dissolve Radster as the flamethrower blast enveloped him; he then exploded.

    710-Sunf

  • Radster had been among Scorpius's monsters during the ravaging and looting of Magna Defender's planet 3,000 years ago under the leadership of Scorpius and apparently Captain Mutiny as well.
  • Together, the monsters had been looting jewels from treasure chests before being confronted by Magna Defender.

    840-FLs2

  • Radster was among the assorted monsters in the Shadow World's underground tomb.

    Horn
    - insect monster and weapons collector hired by Furio; fits profile of Villamax monsters
    Horn
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters
    First Appearance: 704-Rook
    Last Appearance: 840-FLs2

    704-Rook

  • In a dark room somewhere after evading Scorpius, Furio told the monster known as Horn that many before him had tried to get the Quasar Sabers, but all had failed, and he asked how Horn was any different.
  • Horn was a demonic monster with long horns, wearing a black leather trenchcoat; he fit the profile of a Villamax monster.
  • Horn replied that weapons were his expertise, especially rare ones, and he opened the right side of his coat to reveal the five Transdaggers attached to it.
  • Reaching, Furio was astounded, but Horn had him keep his hands off them; Furio urgently asked where he'd gotten them, as they had great power.
  • Horn replied that how he'd gotten the Transdaggers was unimportant, since he could also get the sabers just as he'd gotten the Transdaggers, and Furio agreed.
  • Horn later watched from some bushes as Leo forgot to lock up a GSA structure housing various weapons.
  • Soon, Horn tripped an alarm, and Kai rushed to the area, finding Horn stealing several laser rifles; Horn shot an orange laser beam from a blaster at Kai but missed as he escaped with the weapons.
  • Soon, the Rangers found morphed Leo being beaten by Horn and Stingwingers at a power plant.
  • Confronted by the Rangers, Horn drew his silver compact laser blaster which shot an orange laser; while the Rangers were down, Horn extended a very long left arm all the way over to the Rangers, grabbing their four sabers, and he then tucked them inside his coat.
  • Now strapped inside the coat were several swords, guns, and knives rather than the Transdaggers.
  • When Leo pointed out that he still had his saber, Horn replied that he'd saved the best for last.
  • Horn extended his hand and grabbed the fifth saber, but Leo wouldn't let go, so he opened his jacket and pulled Leo and the saber inside, where they vanished in a streak effect.
  • Horn remarked, "The Red Ranger... I don't have one of those weapons yet."
  • Horn blasted at the Rangers with his gun, but when they ran forward, he was gone.
  • At a square pool of hot liquid slag in an industrial area, Horn was having Stingwingers melt down the GSA laser rifles to make room for his latest prizes when Furio walked in with the five Quasar Sabers wrapped in a black bundle; Leo was chained and held by a Stingwinger on a higher level above.
  • Furio said he wanted the sabers melted into tin cans, but Horn was shocked.
  • A Stingwinger, having unwrapped the sabers, prepared to throw in the five sabers, but Horn grabbed them, saying he couldn't.
  • As Furio said Scorpius commanded it, Horn told him to tell Scorpius they'd been destroyed, but Furio replied that Horn was more of a fool than he'd thought.
  • As they struggled for the sabers, they dropped the bundle and Horn stumbled back with one, but he swung it around wildly, unable to control it.
  • Furio blasted an energy bolt at Horn, but the saber blocked it, deflecting it at Leo and breaking his chains.
  • As Leo escaped with the five sabers, Furio threatened to throw Horn into the slag pool.
  • Near the slag pool where Furio anxiously waited, Leo was blocked by Horn, who blasted him and took the bundle of sabers, actually fakes.
  • At the slag pool, Horn presented Furio with the sabers, telling him to get rid of them once and for all.
  • Excited over the end of the Quasar Sabers at last, Furio plopped them in, then told Horn to give him the Transdaggers; Horn protested that that hadn't been part of the deal, but Furio said they had no deal, opening Horn's coat and ripping out the Transdaggers.
  • The Rangers teleported by, stealing the Transdaggers in the process.
  • When the Rangers trounced the Stingwingers, Furio left telling Horn to recapture the weapons, and Horn panicked but then fired his laser blaster from his coat pocket.
  • Horn extended his left hand again to grab Leo, but Leo chopped off his hand with the Magna Talon.
  • Horn charged with a sword, but Leo charged his saber and delivered his slash attack.
  • The Transdagger star formation blast struck Horn and flung him against a wall with an explosion.
  • Smoking, Horn got up and weakly said he still had his own secret weapon: he pulled out a green flask (also used by Radster, Mutantrum, Ruptor, and Fishface) and chugged, making him grow with a restored left hand.
  • Giant, Horn was now wielding a sword again.
  • As he charged, Horn was sent flying back by the Lion's fire breath and soon exploded.

    732-PQsS

  • When the Rangers kicked in the door of his cabin on Gwinnet, the humanoid Runtus (actually a shapeshifted Deviot) reached for a laser blaster which looked just like the one wielded by Horn; the weapon was probably Deviot's, as he picked it back up off the floor once the Rangers had left.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Horn, who flew to Terra Venture as a yellow energy sparkle and landed in an industrial area.
  • As the Rangers fought him with their Transdaggers, Horn didn't appear to speak at all, merely uttering grunts.
  • The Transdaggers' star formation blast destroyed Horn.

    840-FLs2

  • Horn was among the assorted monsters in the Shadow World's underground tomb.

    Other Sources

  • Horn's name comes from the credits of 740-HGrv.

    Gasser
    - beetle monster used by Furio to attack Terra Venture; fits profile of Villamax monsters
    Gasser
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters
    First Appearance: 705-Hmsk
    Last Appearance: 705-Hmsk

    705-Hmsk

  • Furio sent down Gasser to put the whole colony into a deep sleep to allow Furio to take control.
  • Gasser, a brown and red beetle monster with black arm and leg coverings (making him fit the profile of Villamax monsters), blew red gas from his horns at a group of civilians in the street, knocking them out as they coughed and groaned.
  • Soon, a vast red cloud spread through the city.
  • Gasser's gas made the Rangers choke and writhe when it was blown directly at them.
  • Red Ranger's fire power attack knocked Gasser back and made him leap away retreat.
  • Later, more of Gasser's direct gas attacks made the Rangers cough, but they were at no point rendered unconscious like everyone else in Terra Venture.
  • Downtown, the Galactabeasts briefly glowed bluish-white, and the gas began to recede away from the downed Rangers; Leo said the Galactabeasts were sucking up the gas.
  • The Galactabeasts continued, glowing with more bluish-white bursts, with bluish-white energy rings intermittently radiating from them.
  • A gold energy wave across the city cleansed the city of the remaining gas, and two more waves followed in succession.
  • Some of the waves cleared Gasser's area and knocked him down.
  • Suddenly, the Galactabeasts turned to stone, prompting Leo to say they had to do something, but as people began to wake up and the Rangers got a better view of the stone Galactabeasts, he realized it was too late.
  • A panorama of the stone Galactabeasts showed that the ground in the area beneath them downtown had also apparently been turned to stone.
  • Gasser struck a sledgehammer against one Galactabeast, and explosions erupted around the Galactabeasts, shaking the area.
  • On the Galactabeasts' heads, the Rangers channeled massive amounts of energy from the sky through their Transdaggers into the Galactabeasts, reviving them.
  • Gasser grew, upset that they'd sucked up his gas, and the Rangers then transformed the Galactabeasts into Galactazords for the first time.
  • The Galaxy Megazord Saber destroyed giant Gasser.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Gasser, who perhaps flew to Terra Venture as a red energy sparkle.
  • Gasser was confronted by the Rangers in an industrial area identical to where he'd fought them originally.
  • Fire projected from Leo's hands destroyed Gasser.

    Other Sources

  • According to the Fox Kids website, there was a second monster in 705-Hmsk named "Sledge," but a picture indicates that it was actually Gasser using his sledgehammer on the stone Galactabeasts; the (incorrect) existence of a second monster is confirmed by the Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Mega Maze & Puzzle Book by Dalmation Press (Source: Puzzle book information submitted by SirSTACK)

    Mutanrum
    - shapeshifting sea urchin monster used by Furioto trick Leo into opening Orion cavern; fits profile of Treacheron monsters
    Mutanrum
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters
    First Appearance: 706-LOrn
    Last Appearance: 740-HGrv

    706-LOrn

  • Unable to break into the cavern supposedly holding the Lights of Orion, Furio hatched a plan to exploit someone who was "chosen."
  • Soon, Furio and Trakeena attacked the Pink and Yellow Rangers with Stingwingers in the Forest Dome before the other Rangers arrived on new Astro Cycles.
  • With armored Trakeena as his assistant, Furio stood by a man-sized upright box, wearing a black tophat and magician's cape; inside the box stood an unconscious Mike (actually Mutantrum in disguise) in his black GSA uniform, his arms crossed by his shoulders.
  • As Stingwingers fought the Rangers, Furio and Trakeena had Stingwingers put the box in the back of a green Jeep, and they drove off.
  • Elsewhere, Leo found the abandoned Jeep with the empty box in back, and nearby he watched from some trees as the villains stood around "Mike," who sat limply against a tree.
  • As the other four lured the villains away, unmorphed Leo sliced Mike free from his chains with his Quasar Saber.
  • Mike came to, and the brothers hugged.
  • Mike told his little brother he'd never thought he'd see him again; Leo tried to have them go, but Mike was in pain and had Leo help carry him.
  • Furio and Stingwingers contronted the brothers, but they were able to lose the villains behind some bushes.
  • When Leo talked about Mike's fall, Mike told him they couldn't break the two of them up that easily; Leo agreed but was still confused about how he'd gotten away, and Mike said there was no time.
  • Mike told Leo they had to get to the Lights of Orion before Furio; Leo wasn't familiar with the Lights, and Mike explained that they were one of the most powerful sources of energy in the universe.
  • Holding a crystal pendant (which Furio had given to Trakeena), Mike told Leo about the cave ahead in which the Lights had supposedly been sealed for eons.
  • As Leo inspected the silver case he ultimately found inside a chest inside a cage inside the cave, Mike struck him in the back with a striped staff with a spiked ball at the end and took the box.
  • At the Ranger fight, Mike called out to Furio that the Lights of Orion were "ours at last."
  • When the Rangers couldn't believe that Mike had turned on them, he sent Kendrix flying with a kick and then morphed into Mutantrum with purple energy bolts, retaining his spiked staff.
  • Mutantrum was a white monster with gold and blue stripes; he had a sword in a sheath on his hip.
  • Mutantrum had a brown and blue apelike face, with hundreds of blue spikes on his head, making his head look like a sea urchin.
  • Mutantrum bore the emblem of Treacheron on each shoulder.
  • Mutantrum prepared to give the box to Furio with pleasure when ordered to, but Leo tackled him first.
  • Mutantrum could shoot a purple energy bolt from his hand.
  • Furio and Mutantrum blasted at the same time, flinging the Rangers about with a massive explosion.
  • The Transdagger star formation blast knocked Mutantrum down, but he then drank from a flask of green liquid and grew.
  • The ball on giant Mutantrum's staff suddenly had a glowing red sphere in one side, and he launched the projectile, but the Galaxy Megazord batted it back with its saber, hitting Mutantrum in the chest.
  • The Condor Missile Mode destroyed giant Mutantrum.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Mutantrum, who perhaps flew down as a blue streak.
  • Mutantrum was walking through the forest chuckling evilly when Maya and Leo confronted him; as they went to strike with their Quasar Launcher staves, he vanished in a puff of smoke and reappeared elsewhere.
  • Mutantrum shot an explosive red energy sphere from his staff.
  • Mutantrum didn't speak this time around.
  • Mutantrum was last shown being jump-kicked high into a tree and falling after the two Rangers had teleported out from his explosive blast.

    Wisewizard
    - squid monster used by Furio to seek Lights of Orion; fits profile of Treacheron monsters
    Wisewizard
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters
    First Appearance: 707-DblD
    Last Appearance: 707-DblD

    707-DblD

  • Scorpius told Furio that many had tried to find the Lights of Orion, and all had failed, including Furio.
  • Furio said that Wisewizard had new information that could prove helpful, and Wisewizard said he believed the Lights were hidden in an ordinary camera and that the trick was to find out which one.
  • How Wisewizard had come to the conclusion that the Lights were in a camera is unknown.
  • Furio said Wisewizard would find the Lights, and Scorpius approved, but said that he would destroy Furio if he failed him again; Furio understood and left with the monster.
  • During Carolyn Pickets' photo shoot in a mountain park as the teens approached, Wisewizard wanted to see whether the Lights were in the camera, so he opened the cover of his notebook with white pages on the inside, holding a writing instrument in his mouth.
  • Wisewizard had a tall pointy head like a squid and had a squid tentacle for a beard, as well as suction cups on the two long strips of material hanging down from his hat.
  • The cover of Wisewizard's notebook bore Treacheron's emblem, as did Wisewizard himself.
  • A page with a Japanese symbol on it glowed blue and flew from the notebook toward the camera; sticking, it made the camera explode into pieces, knocking down Carolyn and her manager nearby.
  • Wisewizard checked the scrap on the tripod and found nothing.
  • As the teens ran up, with Kendrix calling for the monster to hold it, he pulled out another page, and it flew, glowing blue, and stuck to Kendrix's left thigh.
  • The page exploded with a spark explosion, knocking Kendrix down painfully; as she groaned clutching her leg, the glowing blue remnants of the Japanese symbol faded out.
  • Wisewizard faded out walking away to search elsewhere for the Lights.
  • Another day after the final scene of Star Crossed Lovers, Wisewizard pointed his wand and made explosions near some workers, making everyone but Carolyn and Kendrix flee.
  • Wisewizard tapped his wand to his notebook, and another page flew onto the movie camera, blowing it apart, but the monster found nothing there.
  • Kendrix jump-kicked the notebook out of Wisewizard's hand, grabbed it, and threw a glowing blue page at him, but he held out his hand and made the page fly back at Kendrix, where it stuck to her right leg and exploded, knocking her down.
  • When Carolyn pretended to be Kendrix, allowing the real Kendrix to kick the notebook from Wisewizard's hands, the monster shot a green beam from his wand, blasting the girls aside with an explosion as he recovered his book.
  • Wisewizard made another blue page fly toward Kendrix, but Red Ranger leapt in and hit to back toward the monster with his saber; the page struck Wisewizard, knocking him down with an explosion.
  • Before fleeing, Wisewizard told the Rangers they would be powerless against him once he found the Lights of Orion.
  • Elsewhere, Wisewizard launched dozens of blue pages which flew around the Rangers and stuck to them, each bearing a different Japanese symbol; the Rangers were paralyzed.
  • When morphed Kendrix broke Wisewizard's notebook apart with blasts from her Transblaster, the black symbol on the leg of her suit faded away, as did the pages on the others.
  • Wisewizard summoned Stingwingers.
  • The Quasar Launchers' blasts made a huge explosion defeating Wisewizard, but he then spontaneously grew.
  • Giant Wisewizard was destroyed by the Condor Missile Mode.

    Quakemaker
    - wasp monster used by Furio to seek Lights of Orion; fits profile of Villamax monsters
    Quakemaker
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters
    First Appearance: 708-BlCr
    Last Appearance: 740-HGrv

    708-BlCr

  • Believing the Lights of Orion were in the soil of Terra Venture, Furio sent Quakemaker.
  • Quakemaker was a brown and black monster with bee-striped wrist guards, as well as antennae and wings; on his left arm was a Villamax pin.
  • Quakemaker called for his "Quake Stakes," and blue energy stakes shot from his mouth, burying themselves into the ground as solid white stakes.
  • Quakemaker shot blue energy stakes at the Rangers, with more sinking into the ground; he would soon fly off in retreat after being attacked by Kai.
  • Elsewhere, apparently in the Forest Dome, Furio soon directed Quakemaker where to place more stakes.
  • Quakemaker had a sword.
  • On Furio's command, earthquakes began in the colony as the stakes twisted up from the ground in their various locations; after the earthquake, however, the Lights had not emerged.
  • Kai pounded Quakemaker and defeated him with a charged slash from his saber, but the monster then grew.
  • The Condor Missile Mode destroyed giant Quakemaker.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Quakemaker, but as the spirit was to be released, Kai blasted at the tombstone.
  • Soon, Hexuba had the purple ghost of Quakemaker arise, and Kai grabbed the spirit, holding it until Hexuba fought him, and Quakemaker's ghost slashed Kai before flying off with purple energy sparkles.
  • Quakemaker landed in a forest with a sword.
  • Quakemaker shot multiple purple energy blasts from his hand.
  • A charged slash from Kai's Quasar Saber made the purple-charged Quakemaker fall and explode.

    Starcog
    - unseen starfish monster used by Treacheron to seek Lights of Orion; fits profile of Treacheron monsters
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters

    709-MagD

  • Scorpius told Treacheron to take three monsters and destroy the Magna Defender to stop him from getting the Lights of Orion.
  • In a cut scene from a preview after 708-BlCr, Scorpius had been heard saying, "The Lights of Orion. Bring them to me, Starcog," but in the actual episode, Starcog was implied to be one of the three monsters he'd told Treacheron to take.
  • Inside the cave in which Furio had seemed to sense the Lights of Orion in the rock, a silhouetted monster, perhaps star-shaped, was chipping at a rock wall with a pickaxe.
  • When Leo asked the monster (presumably Starcog, the third of Treacheron's monsters) who he was, his shadow ran away, dropping the pickaxe; outside, the monster was gone.

    OTHER SOURCES

  • Based on his name (and knowledge of the monsters from Gingaman), Starcog was presumably a cog-themed starfish monster, fitting into the sea creature category of Treacheron's monsters.

    Ruptor
    - pill bug monster used by Treacheron to seek Lights of Orion; fits profile of Villamax monsters
    Ruptor
You are here: Who / Monsters /PRLG monsters
    First Appearance: 709-MagD
    Last Appearance: 709-MagD

    709-MagD

  • Scorpius told Treacheron to take three monsters and destroy the Magna Defender to stop him from getting the Lights of Orion.
  • The next day as Kendrix drove with a stone supposedly containing the Lights, Ruptor stepped in front of her path and blasted her car with blue/red energy bolts from his hands.
  • Ruptor was a blue and red monster in black leather, his tongue perpetually hanging out; on his back was a hard round shell like a pill bug.
  • Ruptor opened took the stone from the case in the car, saying the Lights of Orion were his, but Magna Defender, arriving, blasted him, making him lose the stone.
  • Soon, Ruptor pulled out a spear weapon and shot blue/red energy bolts from it, making an explosion around the Rangers and Magna Defender and making Kendrix drop the stone, which he took before teleporting away.
  • Ruptor had a Villamax pin on the right side of his leather jacket.
  • Ruptor accompanied Treacheron and Trakeena while Samuron attempted to crack open the stone, then later as the villains hid while Samuron fought the Rangers and Magna Defender.
  • As Magna Defender and Treacheron fought, Trakeena walked over to Ruptor, who asked her when he could go have some fun, and she told him to finish him off, at which point he pulled out a flask of green liquid and drank, growing.
  • In giant form, Ruptor wielded a giant butter knife.
  • Giant Ruptor shot a stream of flaming red energy from his mouth.
  • The Galaxy Megazord Saber's energy slashes sliced through Ruptor's back armor, breaking it off in chunks, and the Condor Missile Mode then destroyed him.

    729-Cham

  • One of the videos in Trakeena's archives reviewed by Chameliac featured Green Ranger fighting Ruptor in the woods as the monster wielded an oversized spoon rather than a knife; Yellow Ranger's video featured her striking her Delta Daggers ineffectively against the monster's shell.

    Other Sources

  • The name "Ruptor" comes from the credits of the Magna Defender home video and is verified by the Fox Kids website. (Source: Video entry submitted by SirSTACK)

    Samuron

  • Scorpius told Treacheron to take three monsters and destroy the Magna Defender to stop him from getting the Lights of Orion.
  • In the Forest Dome after Ruptor had stolen a stone supposedly containing the Lights, Treacheron and Trakeena watched with Ruptor as Samuron prepared to smash the stone open with a large red sledgehammer to release the Lights.
  • Samuron was a strong red and white monster with coral-like growths all over his body; on his chest was a Treacheron emblem, and in a sheath on his back was a samurai sword.
  • Samuron hit the stone three times with increasing power until the third strike broke the hammer's handle apart; astonished, Samuron exclaimed that for thousands of years, nothing had withstood the crash of his hammer.
  • Samuron concluded that the rock was completely impenetrable, but Treacheron had a plan to crack it open.
  • Soon, the five Rangers would fly to a mountainside where Samuron was waiting, with Treacheron, Trakeena, and Ruptor watching hidden nearby.
  • Samuron now had a red bladed pike.
  • When Leo attacked up close, Samuron sent him sliding back a long distance on the ground with a red energy blast from his mouth.
  • Samuron asked the Rangers to show him what they had, and when they fired their Quasar Launchers at him, he held the stone in front of him to take the blast.
  • Looking at the smoking stone after it had deflected the blasts, Samuron found the stone undamaged.
  • When Samuron charged after Magna Defender had defeated his Stingwingers, Magna Defender performed a lightning slash attack on him, slicing the stone in half.
  • Samuron sparked, screaming in pain, then fell and exploded.

    710-Sunf

  • A blue and brown beetle monster had been among Scorpius's monsters during the ravaging and looting of Magna Defender's planet 3,000 years ago under the leadership of Scorpius and apparently Captain Mutiny as well.
  • Together, the monsters had been looting jewels from treasure chests before being confronted by Magna Defender.
  • The blue beetle monster most closely matched the profile of Villamax monsters.

    729-Cham

  • One of the videos in Trakeena's archives reviewed by Chameliac featured Red Ranger using his fire blast on the blue beetle monster; when it had attacked Terra Venture is unknown.

    732-PQsS

  • The blue beetle monster was at an auction on Onyx which featured the lost pink Quasar Saber, for which he was one of the excited bidders.

  • Impostra had been among Scorpius's monsters during the ravaging and looting of Magna Defender's planet 3,000 years ago under the leadership of Scorpius and apparently Captain Mutiny as well.
  • Together, the monsters had been looting jewels from treasure chests before being confronted by Magna Defender.

    713-ORet

  • In a dark cavern inside the Scorpion Stinger after Treacheron's monster Destruxo had obtained the Lights of Orion, Trakeena told Impostra the news, saying Scorpius might award Treacheron with more power, but she wanted to get rid of him.
  • Impostra appeared to have a human female face, but with a jeweled gold mask over her eyes; her hair consisted of blue snakes.
  • Impostra had a monstrous green and purple body with large snake head designs for shoulders; on the side of each bicep was a small gold eye of Hexuba.
  • Impostra said she would go down and get the Lights before Treacheron; she turned around to demonstrate her shapeshifting ability, turning into Treacheron and pleasing Trakeena.
  • As Treacheron-Impostra said Destruxo would never know the difference and poor Treacheron would never know what hit him, her voice faded into Treacheron's.
  • As Destruxo was running with the Lights in an urn, he was attacked by Magna Defender, but "Treacheron" joined in the fight, sending Magna Defender falling off a cliff.
  • "Treacheron" had the confused Destruxo follow him into a cave behind a waterfall, where Destruxo humbly presented the urn.
  • After congratulating the monster, "Treacheron" said that the power of the Lights had to be tested first, and Destruxo volunteered.
  • "Treacheron" gave Destruxo a bracelet of white beads and a white snake carving on them, as a reward for his bravery, saying he was sure Scorpius would reward him even more.
  • After Destruxo had absorbed the Lights and left in a powered-up form, "Treacheron" said everything was going as planned, turning back into Impostra and picking up the discarded urn which had held the Lights.
  • As Destruxo fought the Rangers, the snake on his bracelet blew black smoke into his face; in a tree nearby with the urn, Impostra revealed that she'd tricked him into getting the Lights for her, and she prepared to take them back with the urn, but it suddenly exploded into pieces as Magna Defender walked in with his blaster.
  • Impostra's claim to have tricked Destruxo into getting the Lights for her made little sense, as he'd already had the Lights when she'd had him absorb their powers, supposedly to test them.
  • Talking with Impostra, Magna Defender shot her in the chest, knocking her out of the tree; smoking, she stood and vanished, saying she'd be back, but this was her last appearance.

    740-HGrv

  • Impostra was the only Hexuba monster not to be used in Hexuba's conglomerate form in the Lost Galaxy; in her place was a blue-skinned monster never before seen.

  • Motor Mantis had been among Scorpius's monsters during the ravaging and looting of Magna Defender's planet 3,000 years ago under the leadership of Scorpius and apparently Captain Mutiny as well.
  • Together, the monsters had been looting jewels from treasure chests before being confronted by Magna Defender.

    726-MWhM

  • In the Scorpion Stinger, the villains were gathered by Trakeena; as promised, Deviot presented Motor Mantis, who ran in excitedly.
  • Motor Mantis was a dark green mantis monster who wore a black leather jacket, fitting the profile of Villamax monsters.
  • Deviot said Motor Mantis was the perfect monster: sneaky, underhanded, and devious; Kegler remarked that it sounded a lot like Deviot.
  • Deviot and Motor Mantis begged for Trakeena to give the monster a chance, and she approved.
  • On a green alien bike, Motor Mantis raced down a Terra Venture street near a park, the street filled with flaming rubble as people fled the area.
  • The eyeball on the front of the bike shot a green energy pulse which blew up a building; another caused a small spark explosion near some people as people continued to flee and scramble.
  • When the Pink and Yellow Rangers leapt in, turrets beside the bike's eye shot the girls out of the air with orange laser beams.
  • Motor Mantis refused to leave, saying there was a race he had to win first.
  • After the girls had fought briefly with him, Motor Mantis used green energy bolts from his fingers, making them glow gold and struggle to move, and as the other Rangers arrived, he hurried up the process with two more bolts, turning them into gold trophies.
  • Around the bottom of each trophy cup was a strip of Ranger-colored diamonds side-to-side.
  • Motor Mantis would turn them back only if the three Rangers beat him in a race once around the dome, claiming he had the fastest wheels in the galaxy.
  • As the four raced down a forest road, Motor Mantis had a tremendous lead; at one point, he threw two green darts into opposite tree trunks, and once he'd raced by, a fine white line connected the darts and sent Kai flying off his Astro Cycle when he hit the electrical trap.
  • Further ahead, Damon shot at the monster, but Motor Mantis blasted a cliff, loosing boulders into which Damon crashed.
  • Near the finish line, Leo managed to get ahead until Motor Mantis blasted his cycle and flew over him, crossing the Stingwinger-manned finish line first; the villains then vanished.
  • That night, Motor Mantis could be heard somewhere in the distance, racing around for fun.
  • In the previous race area at sunrise, Red Ranger arrived on his Astro Cycle, calling out with a challenge for Motor Mantis.
  • When the monster rode up, Leo offered his Quasar Saber for the next race, and the winner would get both the saber and the girls' trophies; at the start/finish line, Leo inserted his Quasar Saber into a stand, and Motor Mantis placed the girls' trophies on the stand.
  • Checkered flag strips were all around, and a race light counted down yellow lights until hitting green, starting the race between Motor Mantis and Leo.
  • When Leo got the lead, Motor Mantis blasted his cycle and raced ahead, then leapt onto Leo's bike until being thrown back onto his own bike.
  • Motor Mantis kicked Leo, making him crash through a construction area of many stacked cardboard boxes.
  • Struggling to catch up, Leo transformed his cycle into the Red Capsular Cycle and raced ahead across the finish line.
  • When Motor Mantis refused to return the girls, Leo said he left him no choice and raced through the monster with the cycle's fireball mode, blowing him up with a massive explosion.
  • Despite the annihilation of the monster's bike into flaming debris and the reverting of Kendrix and Maya to normal with gold energy, Motor Mantis soon grew, wielding a scythe.
  • The Condor Missile Mode destroyed giant Motor Mantis.

    710-Sunf

  • During Scorpius's ravaging of Magna Defender's planet (perhaps in the Lost Galaxy) 3,000 years ago, Magna Defender had confronted Scorpius and his monsters before seeing that Fishface was holding Magna Defender's son Zika.
  • Fishface had a beard of fin-like protrusions, as well as a fin mohawk; on his waist was the Treacheron emblem.
  • Fishface had told Magna Defender to drop his weapon or his son was doomed; he did so, then called off Torozord when ordered.
  • As Magna Defender, defeated, had told Scorpius to leave Zika alone, Fishface had shoved Zika down on Scorpius's word to release him.
  • Zika had then pulled out his dart weapon and charged toward Scorpius, but an orange energy bolt from Scorpius then struck Zika in the chest, killing him.
  • In modern day, Fishface was with Treacheron on the Scorpion Stinger as the general employed a surveillance system to listen to the teens' conversation on Terra Venture.
  • Fishface thought the girls were speaking in code about the Lights of Orion being in a sunflower statue, but Scorpius ordered them to stop this foolishness; Trakeena, however, thought he might have something, considering all of the sunflower statues on Terra Venture.
  • Scorpius sent Fishface to search every statue, telling him he had only one chance.
  • Agreeing to the mission, Fishface planned to use his blast bag; he squeezed a brown sack he carried, and the gas released from it caused spark explosions around him accidentally.
  • Attacking the site of a gold sunflower statue, Fishface said the Lights of Orion would finally be theirs, and Scorpius would rule the universe.
  • Fishface deflected the Quasar Launchers' energy blasts with his sword.
  • In a park area apparently in the Forest Dome, Fishface approached a silver sunflower statue; the Rangers arrived and fought Stingwingers.
  • While Magna Defender fought Fishface, a little girl who had dropped her teddy bear returned, and Fishface grabbed her as a hostage.
  • Asking Magna Defender if the scenario brought back any old memories, Fishface had him and the Rangers drop their weapons; the Rangers dropped their sabers, but Magna Defender remained unfazed, approaching the monster with his sword.
  • Leo, Fishface, and Kendrix all shouted for Magna Defender not to approach, but he continued, telling the monster he'd shown no mercy for his son, and now Magna Defender would show no mercy for him.
  • Leo grabbed Magna Defender, and as the two were distracted, Fishface blasted Leo in the back with his blast bag, then blasted them both again, but while the monster was distracted, Damon would free the girl.
  • After a charged energy slash from Magna Defender, Fishface was smoking as he leapt over to the last sunflower statue, sure it would contain the Lights, and he threw his entire blast bag at the silver sunflower statue; it exploded into rubble, and Fishface collapsed to his knees in dismay as he found no Lights.
  • Fishface drank from a flask and grew.
  • Giant Fishface pounded the Galaxy Megazord, and when he eventually used his restored blast bag on it, the Megazord fell and exploded, reverting into the Galactabeasts.
  • When Torozord was arriving from parting earth and a cloud of smoke, Fishface asked, "Oh no, now what?"
  • Giant Fishface grabbed Torozord's horns and struggled with it in an inconclusive pushing match.
  • Giant Fishface slung a flaming orange energy blast from his sword twice at Mega Defender, hitting him with the second shot.
  • Horns glowing red, Torozord charged and headbutted Fishface, leaping up on its hind legs and throwing him over its head.
  • The Defender Torozord's lightning spin destroyed giant Fishface.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Fishface, who flew to Terra Venture as a green energy sparkle and arrived in a plaza area.
  • Fishface didn't speak as he battled armored Mike.
  • After a strong slash from Mike's sword, Fishface fell and dissolved with green specks.

    711-SiSl

  • At night on Terra Venture, Chillyfish landed on the top of a tall skyscraper.
  • Chillyfish was a white creature like a jellyfish with long tendrils hanging down from his jellyfish-like head covering.
  • To cool off the colony, Chillyfish threw a jellyfish-like object shaped just like his head covering and tendrils; flying over the city, the object rained down icy blue energy needles on the city below where it traveled.
  • People below collapsed shivering after the blue streaks had rained over them, but a small dog with them was unaffected, as were all other animals aboard the colony.
  • When the streaks fell on cars in the city, their drivers went unconscious.
  • In a GSA hallway probably in the control tower, the lights shut off right as GSA officers inside collapsed weakly; the computer announced that the system was freezing.
  • In Command Headquarters, the monitors went black, and everyone inside collapsed; the colony's engines then shut down.
  • Despite the shutdown, climate control and most city lights still remained active.
  • Alpha was still functioning in the Megaship and able to communicate with the Rangers.
  • When the Rangers investigated in the city, Chillyfish's flying object soon hovered over them and rained down its blue needles, which Damon deflected with his Quasar Saber.
  • The Rangers chased the flying object down a silent night city street before arriving at Chillyfish's location.
  • Chillyfish had a sword on his left hip and a Treacheron emblem on his left shoulder, as well as a thin long straw in his mouth.
  • His sword glowing blue, Chillyfish swordfought Leo, whose Quasar Saber was glowing red.
  • Chillyfish charged the needle in his mouth blue, then blew it at Leo, hitting him in the neck but actually striking the dogtags he was wearing; Chillyfish then shot four more into the others' necks, making them collapse, and then leapt away.
  • Unmorphed Leo soon brought the unmorphed, weak, pale, and barely conscious teens into the Megaship, which was dark and filled with mist.
  • His voice chattering as icicles were hanging off his head, Alpha weakly gave the four teens silver blankets to put over them; he managed to tell Leo he was the only one not frozen before he went offline against the wall, the lights on his body shutting off; the four teens were now unconscious as well.
  • In the Jammer bay, the Jet Jammers were powerless, as were the Astro Cycles elsewhere in the ship.
  • As his flying object continued raining down on the city, Chillyfish said he could find the Lights of Orion now that the colony was frozen.
  • After Magna Defender had caught the Lights in a box but had then lost them, Chillyfish was riding a brown horse in a field outside the city; the horse was probably one of the two that Maya had cared for in a stable, and Leo would take the other one.
  • The brown horse now had an evil black and red facemask which bore Treacheron's emblem, as well as a dark saddle cloth.
  • Chillyfish, racing after the flying Lights, caught them in his hand, saying they were finally his; he slowly opened his hand and looked at the gleaming gold sphere, but it suddenly shattered into nothingness, making him realize it had been a fake.
  • Morphed Leo and Chillyfish swordfought on horses a bit, then continued off their horses.
  • The two leapt past each other to slash, with only Chillyfish apparently getting a hit; the monster then stood still, dropped his sword limply and sparked painfully as Magna Defender's dart was sticking into his back.
  • Chillyfish soon grew and wielded his sword.
  • Giant Mega Defender told Chillyfish to tell him what he knew of the Lights of Orion, and he would spare the monster; Chillyfish refused
  • Defender Torozord's lightning spin destroyed giant Chillyfish.
  • Following Chillyfish's destruction, all of the systems came back on, and the people awoke.

Pictures: Destruxo (shown at right), Destruxo with Orion power

    712-ORis

  • With Destruxo somewhere downtown, Stingwingers set up a forcefield generator made of transparent panels.
  • Destruxo had a relatively puny and whiney voice for what would later be revealed as considerable power for a monster.
  • Destruxo carried a rod of some sort with widened ends, one pointed.
  • Destruxo said no one would think to look there for the source of his forcefield, and he couldn't be stopped from finding the Lights for Scorpius.
  • Destruxo was a red lobster-themed samurai warrior with Treacheron's emblems on the front sides of his helmet.
  • As the generator formed a large gold forcefield in the city, Destruxo told the Stingwingers to be quick before the forcefield used up all the air in the dome.
  • With the Stingwingers, Destruxo was following a Treacheron-themed locator which led him to the Lights' underground location near the white halfpipe building, which was very near one side of the forcefield.
  • Destruxo pushed the blade end of his staff into the grass area indicated by the locator.
  • When morphed Maya and Kendrix arrived, Destruxo wondered how they'd gotten inside, not realizing he'd sealed them in while they were unmorphed.
  • As the two fought Stingwingers, Destruxo lowered himself on his legs, nearly sitting down in the grassy area.
  • When the girls delivered charged Quasar Saber attacks on Destruxo, he caught both of the glowing sabers in his hands, and their glows faded; he tossed them back, then rose and drew his sword.
  • Destruxo slashed the girls, then charged up his sword with blue energy using orange energy bolts, and delivered an X slash of two red energy slashes, making the girls spark and collapse.
  • Destruxo was unaffected when the air began to grow thin inside the forcefield.
  • After the girls had vanished, Destruxo sent the Stingwingers to find them.
  • Soon, Destruxo's fish-themed staff began to rumble slightly, and it sprayed water from its top end; Destruxo exclaimed that at last, the Lights of Orion were almost within his grasp, saying it was nearly complete.
  • A bit later, gold flecks of light began to emerge from the staff amidst the water spraying out of it.
  • Fighting Destruxo together, the girls attacked with two sets of Delta Daggers, which he blocked, then two sets of Beta Bows, the shots of which he deflected with his sword.
  • Destruxo performed another X energy slash, then shot unseen blasts from his hand.
  • Maya occupied the monster with her weapons and Kendrix then struck him, giving Maya time to destroy his forcefield generator.
  • The five Rangers' Quasar Launcher blasts briefly stunned Destruxo at best, and he kept coming, saying he was invincible.
  • The ground suddenly began to rumble, and the Lights of Orion emerged but would begin to move away when called by Magna Defender.
  • Destruxo chased after the Lights, he himself chased by the Rangers, but the Lights then flew into space.
  • Destruxo was angry at the Rangers and swore to find the Lights again and make the Rangers pay dearly, then teleported away.

    713-ORet

  • After the Lights had returned to Terra Venture days or weeks later, Treacheron told Destruxo aboard the Scorpion Stinger to capture the Lights.
  • Destruxo ran from a distance along a path through the trees, in the direction of the Lights, but the Rangers caught up with him and fought him.
  • Leo struck with the charged Magna Talon and Quasar Saber, but Destruxo merely blocked the dual attack with his sword.
  • At once, Maya and Kendrix shot Beta Bows, and Damon and Kai shot Transblasters; unfazed, Destruxo ran through the smoke and attacked with an X slash, then ran toward the Lights.
  • Standing beneath the Lights, Destruxo held a gold urn with a dragon design wrapped around it; extending slightly from the lid was a red ruby sphere.
  • Destruxo called the Lights to him and opened the lid, causing a gold energy web to extend from the urn, drawing the Lights in, and he then clamped it shut.
  • As Destruxo was running near some cliffs with the urn, he was attacked by Magna Defender but helped by "Treacheron" (actually Impostra in disguise).
  • "Treacheron" had the confused Destruxo follow him into a cave behind a waterfall, where Destruxo humbly presented the urn.
  • "Treacheron" congratulated Destruxo on succeeding where many others had failed, saying with the power inside the jar, Scorpius would be unstoppable; Destruxo found it a great honor to serve the cause of evil.
  • "Treacheron" said that the power of the Lights had to be tested first and that they had to find a warrior brave enough to volunteer; Destruxo volunteered even though Treacheron warned the power might be too much for him.
  • "Treacheron" gave Destruxo a bracelet of white beads and a white snake carving on them, as a reward for his bravery, saying he was sure Scorpius would reward him even more.
  • Confronting the Rangers, Destruxo removed the lid with a cry of, "Lights of Orion, activate!"; the released Lights were absorbed into his chest, and gold energy transformed portions of Destruxo's body.
  • Destruxo's shoulders were covered in black/gold ripple-like marks, with a curved blade now projecting from each; his left arm was now black/gold as well, with his hand having turned into a lobster claw.
  • Destruxo's gold helmet horn-like projections were enhanced as well, and his sword was much larger and more advanced now, with a large gold dragon head in the hilt appearing to blow a stream of fire, actually the large curved blade, which was silver on the "bottom" half and wavy gold/black "top" half which looked like flames.
  • Destruxo charged the blade with red energy, then shot a flaming red energy blast at the Rangers, making a large explosion; after rolling down a hill, the Rangers lay unmorphed and weak in a smoking area.
  • To test his powers, Destruxo planned to destroy everything; he then projected an enormous stream of fire from his sword, and a vast river of fire flowed through the forest, rolling down a hillside, apparently striking the teens and Stingwingers below and knocking them down.
  • Destruxo soon projected another fire wave from flaming energy spheres from his claw arm.
  • When they confronted him, Destruxo charged his sword and blasted the Rangers with his fire beam.
  • The energy blasts of the Quasar Launchers merely dissipated on impact with Destruxo; they then charged their Launchers with their own energies and fired, making Destruxo take a small stumble back, but they then collapsed from weakness.
  • As Destruxo prepared his sword to finish them off, the snake on his bracelet blew black smoke into his face as Impostra prepared to take back the Lights with the urn.
  • Magna Defender told Destruxo he might have more power than he did, but power alone wouldn't be enough, calling him pathetic.
  • Swordfighting Destruxo, Magna Defender slashed him, then did a midair flipping sword slash, striking a red sphereical gem in Destruxo's left shoulder, and it crackled with red energy bolts.
  • Destruxo reverted to normal form with a gold glow as the Lights flew from his chest and hovered over a clearing.
  • After the Rangers had obtained the Lights and been suited up in Orion armor, Destruxo confronted them angrily.
  • As Destruxo charged, the Rangers destroyed him with their "power-up mode" energy fireball.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Destruxo, who flew to Terra Venture as a red energy sparkle.
  • Destruxo arrived beneath the halfpipe bridge, which is where he'd found the Lights of Orion in 712-ORis.
  • Sword slashes from Maya and Karone, followed by a slash from Leo, caused Destruxo to fall crackling with red energy and explode.

  • In his cell, Treacheron was swearing to clear his name if it was the last thing he did when the Shark Brothers dropped down from a panel in the ceiling.
  • The Shark Brothers were twin shark monsters, one green and the other brown ("red" from the credits), each with Treacheron's emblem on his chest.
  • The green shark had horns, and brown had a hammerhead shark's head.
  • The Shark Brothers gave Treacheron his sword and told him Trakeena had set him up.
  • Escaping, Treacheron had the Sharks come with him to prove Trakeena's treachery.
  • Fighting the Rangers, green wielded a samurai sword, and brown, a bladed silver frisbee-sized disc.
  • When Orion-armored Leo blasted at the Shark Brothers, Treacheron told them not to worry, planning to finish his battle.
  • Treacheron drew his sword slowly and said this time they fought to the finish, throwing his sheath aside, making the Shark Brothers fear for his safety.
  • Treacheron explained that he'd been dishonored and that he would destroy Red Ranger or be destroyed trying; the green shark replied solemnly that he understood.
  • After Leo had destroyed Treacheron, the Shark Brothers grew to get revenge.
  • Charged slashes from the Orion Galaxy Megazord Saber turned the giant Shark Brothers to stone, and they shattered into pieces.

    732-PQsS

  • The Shark Brothers were at an auction on Onyx which featured the lost pink Quasar Saber.

    715-RDay

  • As Magna Defender was attempting to cause a meltdown which would destroy the Mountain Dome and the Scorpion Stinger, Scorpius told Trakeena to send down a monster to stop him, and Freaky Tiki then instantaneously entered.
  • Freaky Tiki was a tribal monster with a massive face mask, bearing a green-irised eye of Hexuba on his forehead; he wielded a spear.
  • Trakeena, turning, had Freaky Tiki go to destroy them, and the monster then left, planning to show Magna Defender that no one ruined Scorpius's plans.
  • In the form of black and gold energy streaks, Freaky Tiki suddenly came up behind Magna Defender, stabbing him in the back with his spear, with the perhaps six-inch spearhead fully impaled into his back, generating red energy bolts.
  • As the Rangers rushed in, Freaky Tiki threw two explosive feathers like the ones lining his mask, but they failed to stop Red Ranger.
  • The Orion-armored Rangers' energy attack seemed to destroy Freaky Tiki with an explosion, but he weakly got up and grew.
  • When the Orion Galaxy Megazord Saber destroyed giant Freaky Tiki as stone, his spear flew into the nearby lava pit (see "Mountain Dome"), making its flames flare up out of control.

    740-HGrv

  • In her Lost Galaxy graveyard, Hexuba performed incantations at monsters' tombstones, resurrecting their spirits; among them was Freaky Tiki, who flew to Terra Venture as a yellow energy sparkle.
  • Leo was jogging by a mountain when the sparkle flew up behind him, grazing his ribs, and Freaky Tiki materialized with his spear, calling Leo Red Ranger.
  • Freaky Tiki said they'd destroyed him once, but never again.
  • Freaky Tiki shot pulses of orange energy rings from his staff.
  • Red Ranger's Quasar Saber fire slash made Freaky Tiki fall while enveloped in an orange energy cyclone, and he exploded, the cyclone remaining briefly.
  • With another crystal ball shortly after the destruction of her mansion and graveyard, Hexuba said they may have destroyed all her monsters, but she still had all their powers, combined, and she powered up into a blue-faced form with monster faces all over her; Freaky Tiki's head was on her right arm with an orange gem shoved in its mouth.

  • Having a plan, Scorpius called in Skelekron, who entered with Stingwingers carrying a chest.
  • Skelekron wore black knight armor with gray skeleton designs; he had the golden eye of Hexuba on his forehead.
  • As the chest was opened, Skelekron presented his ancient Skelekron Warriors, five doll-sized figures lying in straw in the chest, each with a Ranger-colored scarf around its neck, and each with a different tiny weapon.
  • Each Skelekron Warrior had a skeleton face and wore a black hood and robe like the Grim Reaper.
  • Skelekron said the Skelekron Warriors had the ability to take the Rangers' own energy and use it against them.
  • Watching the Rangers fight his Stingwingers, Skelekron held a skeleton-themed sword and a shield which had a skull design on the front; the left half of the shield was blue with a white skull half, and the right white with a black skull half.
  • During the fight, Skelekron got in front of the four Rangers and opened his shield, revealing a round mirror between the two split halves.
  • Blue energy bolts from the mirror sucked the Rangers into it, then as energy, four hexagon-shaped small mirrors landed on the ground below, a Ranger trapped within each one.
  • Skelekron turned to the brothers to capture them next, but Mike shoved Leo out of the way and then rolled aside.
  • During the struggle, Skelekron struck Leo's unmorphed arm with his sword, causing a spark explosion which either cut or burned Leo's arm, making him and Mike retreat.
  • In an abandoned warehouse with cobwebs on the door, Skelekron put the four mirrors into holes at the top of a bone-like shrine with cobwebs on it; below each of the five hexagonal mirror holes was a taller hole for the Skelekron Warriors; on the top was a human skull and some candles.
  • Skelekron had Stingwingers place the four warriors into the shrine according to the Rangers' colors; he said their powers would all be his.
  • Skelekron angrily found a dogtag planted on a Stingwinger's back and stomped it, knowing Red Ranger would soon be there.
  • Skelekron told his evil Skelekron Warriors to come to life, shooting a purple energy bolt from his sword, making the shrine briefly glow blue.
  • Pink Ranger's mirror glowed pink, and the color went into the white-scarved Skelekron Warrior below.
  • The white Skelekron Warrior doll came to life giggling evilly and got free of the cobwebs, scurrying off.
  • Outside the warehouse, the tiny giggling warrior confronted Mike and Leo with its tiny red and silver sword but then grew to human size with orange energy, at which point it was voiceless.
  • During the unmorphed fight, Leo fought well and eventually kicked it hard into a fence with a spark explosion, leaving behind only an empty cloak and mask.
  • Around another side, Mike and Leo were attacked by a full-grown, yellow-scarved Skelekron Warrior with a growling male grunt who leapt off the roof wielding a scythe.
  • When the Skelekron Warrior launched a spinning orange energy blast from its scythe, unmorphed Leo reflected the blast back with his Quasar Saber, knocking the warrior down; when it soon got back up, Leo slashed it in the midsection with his glowing saber, making it fall back and explode, its remains on fire afterward.
  • Green and blue energy flowed into the last two Skelekron Warriors, and the two teleported full-sized from the altar with Ranger teleportation streaks.
  • Green wielded a pickaxe, and Blue apparently wielded a staff.
  • Leo and Mike entered, and unmorphed Leo fought the Skelekron Warriors with his Quasar Saber while Mike fought Stingwingers.
  • A slash across the midsection make Green drop as a heap, and after Mike had gotten a few hits, Blue befell the same fate.
  • Two energy blasts from unmorphed Leo's Quasar Saber blasted Skelekron and Stingwingers straight out of the warehouse.
  • The mirror on Skelekron's open shield was shattered, and the four teens teleported out of the shattered hexagon mirrors in the altar.
  • The Rangers' Orion fireball made Skelekron fall and explode, but he immediately grew.
  • Giant Skelekron cut a blue energy rectangle in front of himself with his sword, and it projected onto the Galaxy Megazord, trapping it inside a giant mirror; Skelekron then slashed the mirror, cracking it.
  • When Mega Defender (secretly Mike carrying on Magna Defender's legacy) arrived, Skelekron was startled, asking what he was doing there.
  • Defender Torozord's lightning spin destroyed giant Skelekron, freeing the Megazord.

  • With another crystal ball shortly after the destruction of her mansion and graveyard in the Lost Galaxy, Hexuba said they may have destroyed all her monsters, but she still had all their powers, combined, and she powered up into a blue-faced form with monster faces all over her; Skelekron's head was on her left arm with a gem shoved in its mouth.

  • Trakeena sat in a throne and looked into a hand mirror with a skull in the backside; above the mirror was a golden eye of Hexuba.
  • Trakeena asked the mirror who was the most beautiful girl in the universe, and Crumummy introduced himself from inside the mirror to tell her.
  • Crumummy was a monster wrapped up like a mummy, with a pointy eye mask covering his red face; he had a golden eye of Hexuba on his forehead.
  • Crumummy answered that Trakeena was the most beautiful, as well as a lot of other girls on Terra Venture, making Trakeena pound the mirror, and Crumummy fell out with a gold energy bolt.
  • Crumummy had a staff.
  • Trakeena ordered Crumummy to steal the beauty from the girls of Terra Venture or she'd feed him to her father.
  • As two girls walked near a park on Terra Venture, Crumummy shot two purple/yellow pieces of material which wrapped around the girls, one around the torso and the other around the legs.
  • Approaching, Crumummy shot more purple/yellow ribbons from his wrists, wrapping around the girls' faces, and they collapsed, the ribbons vanishing, leaving their faces stained with the purple and yellow wavy patterns from the ribbons.
  • Crumummy had collected the girls' beauty as gold sand in his hand, then put it into a flask to give to Trakeena.
  • Elsewhere, Crumummy approached two more girls and shot his ribbons, but they were slashed by Red Ranger as the Rangers arrived, and after a brief battle, Crumummy ran away.
  • Crumummy had shot red eyebeams at the Rangers.
  • Crumummy reported to Trakeena that he'd taken every grain of beauty from Terra Venture, but when Trakeena threateningly went to see for herself, he nervously left to take a second look around.
  • Later, Tracy (secretly Trakeena in human disguise) and Mike were walking arm-in-arm in front of the other teens in the city when two iron girders nearly crushed them, with Mike saving Tracy just in time.
  • Crumummy, attacking after having triggered the falling girders, planned to take the beauty from Kendrix, Maya, and Tracy, but Tracy subtly pointed to herself, mouthing to Crumummy that it was her.
  • After draining the beauty from Maya and Kendrix, knocking them out, Crumummy summoned Stingwingers to fight the three Rangers but soon ran off and teleported away as a multicolored energy ribbon.
  • After it had appeared that Tracy had poisoned Mike, Crumummy arrived and handed her the beauty jar, but Mike grabbed it and poured the gold sand out, allowing it to fly into the air and rain down on all of the monster's victims, curing them.
  • Mike tossed the empty jar aside, and it could he heard shattering; he then threw the actual poisoned juice cup at Tracy, and when she ducked, it splashed on Crumummy, making his face steam and burn.
  • Crumummy soon fled elsewhere into the nearby forest after Trakeena had vanished after being revealed.
  • Elsewhere in the forest, armored Mike fought Crumummy, but he dissolved into energy cloths which wrapped around Mike, squeezing him, and they then slammed him into a few trees before releasing him and making Crumummy reappear.
  • Crumummy fired some sort of unseen blast from his staff.
  • Following Mike's lightning slash and Orion-armored Kendrix's fireball attack, Crumummy fell and exploded but then grew.
  • Giant Crumummy shot a red energy fireball at the Galaxy Megazord's leg, making an explosion on it, and the Megazord collapsed from a total power loss, its knee damaged.
  • Defender Torozord's lightning spin attack failed to destroy giant Crumummy.
  • Back online, the Megazord got back up and summoned its Orion armor, healing the damage in its knee with red energy.
  • The Orion Galaxy Megazord Saber destroyed giant Crumummy as stone.

  • For his evil Zords to destroy the Rangers, Deviot summoned Hardtochoke to the Scorpion Stinger and gave him the Zords' remote, explaining it and his mission.
  • Hardtochoke was a bulky monster mostly covered in hard green leaf-shaped plates; around his wrists were four white claws in addition to his hands, and in his abdomen was a green-irised eye of Hexuba.
  • On a rooftop in Terra Venture's city dome, Hardtochoke was ready to test the Zords' destructive power, so he summoned them with the remote and then ordered them to destroy Terra Venture, causing them to blast the city all around them.
  • Watching as the three Rangers drove up on Astro Cycles below, Hardtochoke summoned Stingwingers according to his plan to ambush the Rangers; when the Galactabeasts arrived, he had the Zords attack them.
  • After Deviot had come and gone, leaving Stingwingers with Hardtochoke to fight the Rangers, the monster exclaimed that this was what he lived for.
  • After the Rangers had beaten the Stingwingers, Leo tackled Hardtochoke, sending them both falling off the very tall glass building, and the other five leapt down after them.
  • On the ground, the six surrounded Hardtochoke, but he spun around, shooting a steady green energy bolt from his hand.
  • Leo grabbed the remote after Kai and Maya had tripped the monster, but Hardtochoke then broke the device into pieces with an energy bolt from his hand, saying now nothing could stop the Zords.
  • The Rangers' Orion energy attack, following a slash from Magna Defender, defeated Hardtochoke, but he then grew and proceeded to attack the Galactabeasts with the evil Zords before the Zords turned on him.
  • Giant Hardtochoke withstood the attacks of Stratoforce and Centaurus, as well as the Zenith Carrierzord's powerful cannon blasts.
  • Finally, the Orion Galaxy Megazord Saber made giant Hardtochoke fall and explode rather than break into stone pieces as was the normal effect of the finishing move.
