  • In the infirmary, Ashley scanned the injured Carlos with a silver device, somewhere around half a foot long, with a tapered bottom portion and a glowing blue section on its top; Cassie also used a flat silver keypad panel device roughly the size of a large clipboard.

  • After Alpha removed an electrode from Zhane's forehead on the med table in the infirmary, Alpha analyzed the data on his morphing powers in a panel device and the readout on the kiosk by the wall.
  • Zhane soon came into the bridge with a panel device; between tapping at the device's buttons, Zhane looked at the "Computer Systems" console, then the display panel for the front center seat.
  • Later back in the infirmary, Alpha looked at the wall monitor, and Zhane looked at a panel device.

  • The Rangers teleported onto the surface of Dark Specter's asteroid with two detonator cases: inside each case were two explosive spheres, each with a Spiral Saber-like drill on it to allow the device to plant itself into the ground.
  • Once the four devices were planted in the asteroid, the last two being 100 meters apart, explosions soon began to rock the asteroid, but they caused no noticeable damage.

  • Ashley entered the bridge with a panel device and another device; before going to comfort Andros, she pressed a few buttons at the "Computer Systems" console, where the monitor appeared to be scanning galaxies or planets.

  • After the three teens had located Andros and Carlos in the forcefield-encased Secret City, Alpha came in with three blue backpacks carrying an aerial probe to find the antenna, some detonators to destroy it, and Astro Blasters for when they ran into trouble.
  • In Secret City, Cassie armed a small gun which launched a parachuting probe into the air; T.J. then tracked it on an AmScanner, locating the forcefield dish.

  • In the frozen Megaship after Chillyfish had frozen all of Terra Venture, Alpha gave the barely conscious frozen teens silver foil-like blankets to put over them before they all went unconscious.

  • With the Power Chamber and their Turbo powers gone, the teens needed to go to the Cimmerian planet to rescue Zordon and prevent Divatox from ever returning to Earth, but Ashley pointed out that Divatox was only temporarily gone, at which point Alpha suddenly remembered something and began to dig up a black box from the rubble of the Power Chamber.
  • Having the teens help him unearth the black box, Alpha explained that it held the power decoder; he said it had all the secret codes and that they were going to need it.
  • It was apparently Justin, not Alpha, who thought to go to NASADA for a way to chase after Divatox.

  • As the five Rangers entered the Megaship's bridge after their first battle together, Alpha was holding the black box, which now had wires hooked up to it, and he appeared to push some buttons on the top of the box, saying, "I think I've finally gotten it!"
  • Soon afterward, as the Megaship was under fire from Astronema's sphinx ship, Alpha broke the code for the Astro Megazord; he explained to the Rangers, "This box contains the code that links the shuttle with the Megaship, creating the Astro Megazord. It's all part of Zordon's master plan!"

  • Andros had an AmScanner after working under a set of controls on the bridge, completing his repairs on the Megaship.

  • As the teens bought computer components for the Megaship in Angel Grove, Andros waited outside with an AmScanner, and when the teens came out with the purchased parts, he told them they were being followed; they were soon attacked by Quantrons.
  • Later on the Megaship, Andros was using an AmScanner on the bridge when Carlos and Ashley entered, having checked the ship's "velocity junctions," with Carlos having an AmScanner as well.

  • Andros took an AmScanner from his locker before morphing down to KO-35 to search for Karone.
  • The next morning, Carlos took an AmScanner from his locker and headed down to the planet after Andros.
  • While scanning the KO-35 city, Andros's AmScanner had a greenish-black grid screen.
  • The AmScanner's section of four buttons was identical to the area of flashing lights on the Astro Morphers.
  • The AmScanner made a warble sound to indicate Ecliptor's presence nearby, but Andros chased after the figure, thinking it could've been Karone.

  • On the volcanic planet Kalderon, T.J.'s AmScanner died out; at the same time, communication with the Megaship above was difficult if not impossible.

  • Trudging along on a rocky planet on a search for Dark Specter with an AmScanner, morphed Andros and Ashley eventually reported that the planet was completely deserted.

  • T.J. used an AmScanner with Cassie and Carlos on a jungle planet after receiving a distress signal secretly sent by Ecliptor as part of an ambush.

  • As the teens set up an interstellar scanner to search for Zordon from the planet Brokaya, Carlos used an AmScanner as he and Cassie kept watch, but it didn't alert him to Darkonda's presence behind some bushes in the distance as he spied on their mission.
  • Later on the workbay as Andros examined the damaged interstellar scanner, two AmScanners and a tapered silver scanner (first seen in 605-NvSS) were on the table beside him.

  • As the four teens prepared to leave the ship to search the Dagobah system, Carlos prepared an AmScanner, Ashley prepared the tapered scanner, and T.J. took a panel device as they left the bridge.
  • Soon, Andros took an AmScanner with him when he went down his jump tube to go to the planet Onyx.

  • On the planet Brokaya, the teens secretively used a computer interface to set up a satellite dish; Andros then shut the keyboard, and the teens rushed off to return to the Megaship.
  • Carlos asked Andros if this interstellar scanner was much faster, and Andros said it could search a whole galaxy (snaps fingers) like that, and that they'd find Zordon long before Dark Specter could steal his powers.
  • Cassie said the scanner was online, and DECA announced activation of scan algorithms A and B; a monitor at the "Alert Systems" console began searching through galaxies at the rate of one every few seconds while the dish rotated on the planet below.
  • Soon, just as the viewscreen on the Megaship's bridge showed an image of Dark Specter's spaceship, Darkonda and Ecliptor destroyed the scanner with energy blasts, turning the image to static before they could get a lock on the ship's location.
  • Later in the workbay, Andros, Cassie, and T.J. examined the charred satellite dish, and Andros concluded they wouldn't be able to fix it.
