  • In the Megazord cockpit, the Blue, Red, and Black Rangers used their Power Crystals as joysticks; presumably, the Pink and Yellow Rangers used theirs as joysticks as well, but their controls remained out of view.
  • Red Ranger's controls had handgrips on either side of the red joystick; as Red Ranger called for the formation of the Megazord Battle Mode, energy from a red symbol of Red Ranger's helmet, on the left, and a yellow symbol of the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord's head, on the right, flowed into a central Tyrannosaurus symbol which glowed red with blue and yellow streaks.
  • The Megazord's cockpit was in the Megazord head, part of the Tyrannosaurus.

  • The Megazord's standard transformation from Tank Mode to Battle Mode was as follows, unless otherwise stated: a robotic voice says, "Megazord sequence has been initiated," the Megazord's hands unfold, the Megazord stands up, the Pterodactyl transforms in mid-flight as the Tyrannosaurus head folds into its chest, then connects over the Tyrannosaurus's chest; finally, the sides of the Megazord head fold forward, and the robotic voice says, "Megazord activated."
  • The Megazord's hands would often switch from large, angular robot hands to human hands wearing silver gloves, a tremendous size difference.

  • Before the transformation to battle mode, a group symbol of the Dinozords was often shown glowing with Ranger-colored energy.
  • The Megazord could shoot a cranial laser, a reddish-white bolt of electricity from its crown.

  • The Power Sword flew down from the clouds and stabbed into the ground; it would fly down from the sky whenever summoned.
